Revisiting Angkor Wat

Tree in courtyard, Angkor Wat, Cambodia

I’ve been going through images I took at Angkor Wat in Cambodia in 2010. When I returned home after our visit, I was disappointed with the images; they seemed flat and pretty much the same as most of the images I’d seen of the site. But lately I’ve been processing my images in black and white, and when I revisited Angkor, I started to see my images differently. This is one of the shots that really works for me.

  1. I have visited Thailand twice, and like you, some of my images weren’t so good. I might try this B&W idea with some of my less-than-perfect shots. Thanks for the idea.
