More time at Toni’s studio. One of my favourite models from last year was the irrepressible Kerry Maguire. Today we ran through a series of ideas, using a similar lighting setup for most of the time, photographing with fabrics and a few props. At the end of our session, Andrew DeGroot suggested we try photographing Kerry by using tea candles and a single strobe light source to highlight her face, and a longer shutter speed (half a second) in hopes that the candles would be more illuminated but not the rest of the room. Cameras secured on tripod, we got in a few shots, and this is one of the ones that I think turned out pretty well. Kudos to Andrew for inspiration and Toni for the opportunity.
